GLDiS – Gas Lift Distribution & Injection System

A self-contained system with a small footprint, advanced controls, and automated allocation.

Ready to Run

The preassembled and fully operational enclosure is delivered ready to run, reducing installation time and cost. Once set on location, the flowlines are connected to the pre-plumbed inlet and outlet ports, and the system is ready to go.

Optional systems—including electric or pneumatic actuated control chokes, utility power, or onboard solar power—provide flexible and reliable operation.  The system is fully enclosed, keeping instrumentation out of the elements and reducing the potential for freezing during the winter months. Options for methanol injection, insulation and heat can be added for cold weather environments where freeze potential is of risk.

Advanced Control Logic

The controls allocate injection based on a combination of target flow rates, available gas, and injection pressures. The system is “self-healing” and will automatically re-distribute gas injection if any injection points are shut in, or if a change in the rate of gas delivery occurs.

The control package is fully integrated into the producer’s SCADA system, allowing for monitoring, alarming, and remote adjustments, and is expandable to control compressor station flows.

GLDiS is offered in both ANSI 600C.L. at 1,440 psi MAWP, and in 5K at 5,000 psi MAWP for HP distribution and measurement.  Bolt-on booster compressor manifold options are available and provided in any configuration needed for your production operation needs.

A 4-well package requires just a 5’x5′ footprint, while an 8-well package fits within only 10’x5′. Systems are fully expandable to support any number of wells. 

Measurement is achieved through a 1” Coriolis meter, configured for high-pressure gas service.  In this application, the Coriolis meter provides a wide 100% turndown, low differential pressure, a compact footprint, and accurate measurement.
